Micallef is a Canadian journalist from Toronto currently working as a Co-Host for Sportsnet 590 Tim and Sad Show since July of 2015.

He – one-half of the famed Tim & Sidduo – has established himself as a fan-favorite host and personality on Sportsnet since joining the network in December 2011. Micallef and co-host Sid Seixerio made the transition to television in summer 2015 after more than three years of debating hot-button sports subjects on their afternoon radio show on Sportsnet 590 The FAN.

Micallef spent eleven years at The Score (now Sportsnet 360), hosting different programs such as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and NFL coverage, as well as the nightly news programme Score Tonight, prior to his lengthy radio and television work with Sportsnet. Outside of television, Micallef teamed up with fellow Score personality Seixeiro to create Tim & Sid: Uncut, a sports podcast that grew into a daily Sirius Satellite Radio show.

The Toronto native has been the voice of the OUA football broadcasts since September 2002, in addition to his involvement in professional sports broadcasting. Micallef has called over 200 live CIS games, including football, men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball, as well as more than 20 CIS National Championship games, in that time. Micallef previously worked as the radio voice of the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats on AM 900 CHML for three seasons, calling 61 games between 2004 and 2007.
