In 2002 she moved to the United States after completing her high school in Canada, she joined Cornell University. She graduated in 2005 with a bachelor degree in Government as she was interested in politics and contemporary events. In 2007 she also earned a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
During her time at Medill School, she served as varsity’s media Medill News Service, conducting research on business trends in numerous industries and writing news on them. She later began her journalism career with ABC-affiliate, NewsChannel 9 WSYR, working as reporter and weekend newscaster.
