Skip Bayless Cowboys
Bayless is a Cowboys fan although most people assumed he was more of a Cowboys’ toughest critic as he wrote muckraking book about the saintly Tom Landry, who pissed off Troy Aikman. On his show, he calls the team “My beloved Cowboys”. He also uses terms such as “my quarterback” Dak Prescott and “my defence” when talking about the team.
When Cowboys win Bayless does a TV host’s version of an end zone dance. He might film himself doing Conor McGregor’s strut walk. Or he’ll come on his show Undisputed, pound the desk, and yell, “How ’bout dem Dallas Cowboys!” as it is his victory celebration phrase.
Skip Bayless Patriots
Skip Bayless is a critic for the Patriots. In December 2018 after Patriots lost 34-33 to Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium Bayless called New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick who is a seven-time Super Bowl champion “overrated” during an episode of “Undisputed” on FOX Sports 1.
“Bill Belichick is overrated, and once again Tom Brady had overcome a defense that would you believe this? Every time the Dolphins snapped the ball yesterday, they got 9.2 yards.” — @RealSkipBayless pic.twitter.com/uT8v3DZ979
