Pinder is a Canadian journalist from Calgary currently working as a Co-Host for Sportsnet 960 The FAN for Boomer in the Morning show since 2013.
Pinder happens to be a mainstay on the Calgary all-sports station’s morning lineup. He hosts alongside fellow host Dean “Boomer” Molberg. In addition, he anchors The Nine until 10 am every weekday morning.
Pinder began his career in broadcasting as a play-by-play announcer for the Abbotsford Heat (AHL), Penticton Vees (BCHL), Fort St. John Huskies (Junior ‘B’), and the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. Pinder made the switch to radio in 2013 and has called Sportsnet 960 The FAN home ever since.
Pinder also reports for Sportsnet 960 and Sportsnet 650 from Blue Jays Spring Training in Dunedin, Florida, in addition to his job in the morning hour.
