Ryan O’Donnell is an American award-winning anchor/reporter, He works for KRON in San Francisco, California. He joined the channel in the September of 2018 and has been working there ever since.
Throughout his career, Ryan has won a number of awards and garnered prominence for his works in journalism and community service.

He is married. We, however, do not know the name of his wife. It seems he keeps his personal life away from his career. Despite this, we do know that the couple has three children, all boys. Ryan loves showing his children what he was doing when he was their age.

Journalism
He started off his career as a Senior Reporter/Anchor at KTTC/KXLT in Rochester, southern Minnesota. Here, he acted as a general assignment reporter, fill-in anchor, and producer. He worked here from 2001-02. After leaving this job, he became a Bureau Director at KAAL based in Austin, Minnesota. His roles were to manage a staff of 3 reporters as well as reporting for the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
In 2003, he left the station to join KEPR as an anchor/reporter/producer based in Tri-Cities, Washington. Here, he anchored newscasts, produced newscasts, and helped other reporters develop their journalism techniques. In 2005, he joined KMSB as a reporter based in Tucson, Arizona. He was responsible for reporting stories for KMSB, KVOA and KTVK, and the daily live reports as well as enterprise stories and breaking news.
Ryan O’Donnell left the station in May 2007 and joined WOAI as a reporter based in San Antonio, Texas. He was also an occasional fill-in anchor for the channel. In May 2009, he became an anchor/reporter for KTVK in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked here until July 2015. Soon after leaving the channel, he joined WATE still as an anchor/reporter. In August 2018, he left WATE to join KRON in San Francisco. He has been working there ever since.

Other Work
Ryan O’Donnell has also been active in various community initiatives. He serves on the Board of the United Way of Blount County’s Emergency Response Plan. He is also actively involved in the Toys for Blount County. In addition, he is the Benton/Franklin County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse-Second Lieutenant as well as a Certified search and rescue.
