Ritula Shah is a British journalist from Barnet, London currently working as a news presenter for BBC Radio. She is currently the main presenter for The World Tonight show on BBC Radio 4 since January of 1999.
Ritula joined the show as the Deputy Presenter and also presented the Saturday edition of PM. After the departure of Robin Lustig, she has been the lead presenter.
Prior to this show, she was a presenter for Woman’s Hour on Radio 4 and was a launch presenter for The World Today on the BBC World Service.
Since joining the show, The World Today, she has been September 11, 2001, and its aftermath to sports and the arts. Before arriving at the BBC, she worked with BBC television and radio news which includes a lengthy period on the Today program on Radio 4.
