Phillip Martin Simms was born on November 3, 1954, in Springfield, Kentucky. For 15 years he played for New York Giants professionally in the National Football League. Currently, He is a television sportscaster for the CBS network. In the 1985 and 1993 seasons, He was named to the Pro Bowl for his performances. he led the Giants to a 39–20 victory over the Denver Broncos and set the record for highest completion percentage in a Super Bowl, completing 22 of 25 passes, a record which still isn’t broken. Simms was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Super Bowl XXI.AS a career broadcaster of NFL games he finished his career with 33,462 passing yards. He works as an analyst for ESPN and for NBC AS an in-game color commentator and now with CBS.
