Pillai is an Indian journalist from Calcutta who worked as a News Presenter for BBC World News from 1996 to 2011.
Currently, she is a public speaker, conference moderator, and public speaking coach. This is a job she has been working on since the year 2008.
Prior to this, he worked for the BBC’s Current Affairs program Panorama from 1990 to 1995. She joined BBC in November 1986 where she was working on The Money Programme. The year 1991 saw her spend nine months investigating the financial empire of Robert Maxwell. The consequent program, The Max Factor, won a Royal Television Society Award.
