Alberga is a Canadian journalist from Montreal currently working as a Fantasy Hockey Analyst for Sportsnet 590 since September 2018.

He joined the Sportsnet team in October of 2019.

He was previously the co-host of Leafs Nation on Sportsnet 590 The Fan in Toronto with Gord Stellick. In addition to his game night duties, Alberga hosts Hockey Central with regular panelists Brian Burke, Anthony Stewart, and Justin Bourne.

Nick oversees Sportsnet’s fantasy hockey coverage, which includes weekly features and co-hosting the weekly internet show Fantasy Forecheck with co-host Andy McNamara.

Prior to joining Sportsnet, Alberga worked for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio as a Show Host and Producer. During his time at the station, Alberga covered various NHL Drafts, the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, and, most notably, the 2018 Stanley Cup Final, which he broadcast live from Las Vegas.

Nick studied Journalism-Broadcast at Fanshawe College in London from 2007 to 2009 before moving to Toronto to pursue TV and Radio Sports Broadcasting at the College of Sports Media.
