She attended Punahou School in Honolulu and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. She also has a masters degree in public policy from Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
She joined CBS News in 2007 and has been working there since then as a Washington D.C based congressional correspondent. Nancy was a New York Correspondent for ABC News between 2005 and 2007. She reported on major news stories including Hurricane Katrina, the war in Iraq and the 2004 elections.
Before then, she was a Washington based correspondent for NewsOne, an affiliate of ABC News. She was a reporter for WJLA-TV in Washington before joining ABC News. She began her career in Honolulu as a reporter for KHNL-TV.
