Mike Lichniak is an American journalist from Connecticut, currently working as a Morning Meteorologist for WBOC-TV in Salisbury, MD since February of 2013.

Lichniak is Morning Meteorologist for WBOC-TV in Salisbury, MD. He decided to go to one of the hardest places to forecast weather to earn his degree. Mike graduated with a bachelor of science in meteorology from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vt. in May of 2009. He continued his fascination for forecasting mountain weather by starting his TV career at WOAY-TV in southern West Virginia. After working there, his pull to the ocean and his childhood dream of living in Delmarva could not be contained anymore. In addition, he is a full member of the American Meteorological Society and is working toward getting his seal from the organization.

When not working on the challenging forecast of the peninsula, Mike enjoys playing a round of golf, watching the latest action flick, rooting on his favorite sports teams, and discovering new places.
