Megan Anderson Early life
She was born in Gold Coast, Australia as she grew up she attended All Saints Anglican School. At the beginning of 2008, she moved to Canberra to join the Australian Army after she graduated from high school.
She served in the military for two and a half years and was discharged when it was discovered that she had attempted to end her own life and was afterward hospitalized. She returned to Gold Coast and worked as a receptionist while at the same time she got involved in the local boxing scene.
She was later introduced to mixed martial arts and began training in 2013.

She made her professional debut in November 2013 and lost the fight to Zoie Shreiweis. In the next two years, she built her record to 4 wins and 1 loses before signing to Invicta Fighting Championships.
In September 2015, she faced Cindy Dandois at Invicta FC 14: Evinger vs. Kianzad in her promotional debut. She lost via submission. She later went ahead o gain 3 wins in the promotion. She faced Charmaine Tweet on 14 January 2017 for the Interim Invicta FC Featherweight Championship. She won the fight in the second round via TKO. She was later promoted from Interim to undisputed Featherweight Champion.
She was later signed by the UFC in 2017.
Ultimate Fighting Championship
On July 2017, she was scheduled to make her promotional debut against Cris Cyborg at UFC 214. She pulled out of the bout citing personal issues as the reason and was replaced by Tonya Evinger.
On June 9, 2018, she faced Holly Holm at UFC 225. She lost via unanimous decision. On December 29, 2018, she faced Cat Zingano at UFC 232. She won. the fight via technical knockout early in the first round after a kick to Zingano caused an eye injury that didn’t allow her to continue.
She is scheduled to face promotional newcomer Felicia Spencer on May 18, 2019, at UFC on ESPN+ 9.
