Kit Hoover is an American sportscaster, television personality, and broadcast journalist. She is best known for her stints on Fox News Channel, ESPN, and Access Hollywood Live.

She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Marist high school in Atlanta, where she was a track star. She won three years consecutively both the mile and two-mile runs. She later joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her B.A. in journalism.
In July 1995, she made her television debut as a cast member on Road Rules: the USA – The First Adventure, the inaugural season of MTV’s Road Rules a reality television series. From 1997-1998, she was hired as an entertainment correspondent for American Journal, a nationally syndicated magazine show.
In 1999, she joined Fox News as a correspondent Fox Broadcasting Company’s newsmagazine FOX Files. She also served as a correspondent for Celebrity Spotlight and The Pulse and also co-hosted the latter. She also hosted Fox Rules with Kit Hoover.

In August 2003, she joined ESPN as co-host of ESPN2’s innovative live morning show – Cold Pizza. On February 1, 2004, she became a judge on ESPN’s reality contest known as Dream Job. From January 2004 to July 2006 she became the lead Feature and field reporter for Tennis events.
She covered some of the big events for Cold Pizza such as the 2003 World Series, 2004 World Series, the 2004 NBA Finals, the 2004 Super Bowl, and the 2004 Summer Olympics. In September 2006, she left ESPN after failing to agree on a new role for her.
2006-present
She became a correspondent for the TV Guide Channel from October 2006- July 2008. At the multiple Six Flags Theme Parks around the U.S., she hosted Six Flags TV on July 27, 2008. She also hosted TLC’s lifestyle makeover series Real Simple, Real Life based on the magazine Real Simple from 2008 to 2009.
She made her first appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s sports reality television program Shaq Vs. on the debut of its second season on August 3, 2010. She worked as both the co-host of the show as well as the sideline reporter. From September 13, 2010, she has co-hosted Access Hollywood Live with Billy Bush, replacing Nancy O’Dell.
