Kennedy is an American journalist serving as a news producer at 1011 NOW News. She is originally from Wayne, Nebraska. She is a graduate of the Nebraska-Lincoln University. While there, she served as a news editor, reporter, and anchor. She graduated in 2017 with majors in broadcasting and journalism with emphases in political science, English, and music. Kennedy has always loved writing, but after her first journalism class at UNL, she knew she wanted to go into the news. Her professors taught with such conviction and passion for journalism, and she wanted to be a part of something so important. During her free time, she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, trying new restaurants (but always returning to Runza), spending hours roaming the aisles of Marshall’s and Home Goods, and cheering on the Huskers.
