She had also worked as a sideline reporter for FOX Sports Florida before joining NHL Network. There she covered the Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic, and Tampa Bay Lightning. Her career however began at the ACC Digital Network as a production assistant and host.

Kelly is a proud graduate of Clemson University where she obtained her Master’s in Youth Development Leadership. She also studied at the University of Miami and attained her Master’s in TV Broadcast Journalism
