Kasie Hunt is an American political journalist/ correspondent born on 24th May 1985 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, U.S. She is an NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent covering Congress across all NBC News and MSNBC platforms. She also hosts Kasie DC on MSNBC which airs on Sundays at 7 p.m.
Kasie began her career as a deputy political director intern at ABC News, a division of America’s broadcast television network, NBC, leaving the station in 2005. In 2006 she joined The Associated Press as a News Assistant, while in that position she covered the 2012 presidential campaign of former Governor Mitt Romney.
She later became a health policy reporter for the National Journal’s CongressDaily. She also wrote for Politico and worked as a political correspondent for the Associated Press. She later rejoined NBC News as an off-air reporter and producer, covering Congress and politics.
In 2014 she joined MSNBC as a political correspondent until 2016. She also writes for the msnbc.com.Kasie also makes regular appearance on MSNBC and Bloomberg shows like the Hardball with Chris Matthews, Morning Joe and With All Due Respect.
