Thatcher is an American journalist currently serving as a Morning anchor at KEPR News Channel. She comes to the Tri-Cities after spending her entire life living in the desert. The Phoenix Arizona native, graduated from the Arizona State University with a degree in journalism and is a huge Sun Devil football fan. .

She spent the last two years in West Texas underneath the Friday Night Lights. There, she was the weekend anchor and reporter, covering everything from border issues, murder cases, and the important impact a group of special needs students had on their community. Julia is ecstatic to finally live in a place where she can enjoy all four seasons. Julia and her dog Lacie, love to head out to the park to enjoy the beautiful trees and green grass.
