Donovan is an American journalist currently serving as a reporter at KRDO News. She joined the KRDO News team in June, 2019. She is originally from the Northeast, growing up in a small town on the South Shore of Massachusetts (where the chocolate chip cookie was invented!) Julia is very excited to get to know people in the Colorado Springs community and tell their stories.

Julia studied broadcast journalism at Suffolk University in downtown Boston. There, she reported live on NECN as a “Suffolk in the City” reporter. She was also a part-time news writer for WHDH and WFXT while working toward her undergraduate degree. When she is not working, she spends her free time hiking and spending time with family and friends.
