Samuel Jared Taylor is an American white supremacist and editor of American Renaissance, a white supremacist online magazine.
He founded in 1990. He is also an author and the president of American Renaissance’s parent organization, New Century Foundation, through which many of his books have been published

He worked as an international lending officer for the Manufacturers Hanover Corporation, and as West Coast editor of PC Magazine. He authored the book Shadows of the Rising Sun: A Critical View of the Japanese Miracle, in which he wrote that Japan was not an appropriate economic or social model for the United States, and criticized the Japanese for excessive preoccupation with their own uniqueness. He published the first issue of American Renaissance, a white supremacist newsletter and website.
He created the New Century Foundation to help with the running of American Renaissance and wrote Paved With Good Intentions, a book on race relations in the United States

He is a proponent of scientific racism and voluntary racial segregation. He also asserts that there are racial differences in intelligence among the various ethnic-racial groups across the world. He argues that Blacks are generally less intelligent than Hispanics, while Hispanics are generally less intelligent than whites, and whites are generally less intelligent than East Asians

He supported Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and recorded robocalls to support Trump before the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary. He further described Trump’s inauguration as “a sign of rising white consciousness”, and he said that he supported Trump’s election as president “because the effects of his policy would be to reduce the dispossession of whites, that is, to slow the process whereby whites become the minority in the United-States.
