Alagha is an American journalist currently serving as a morning news anchor at KCEN Channel 6 News. She joined Channel 6 News in August of 2016 as the anchor of Early Texas Today and reporter. After spending over a year in the role, Alagha was promoted to the main anchor position on Texas Today. Before moving to Central Texas, she has spent over a year in Abilene, Texas serving as the morning news anchor and producer for KRBC News. She is originally from San Diego, California however, her career has made her move from city to city. Heidi has worked as a producer and writer for KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego before getting her start on-air.
She is a proud graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in History from San Diego State University. In addition to being a news junkie, Heidi likes spending most of her days off with her dog Louie, watching movies, and exploring central Texas.
