Dave Feldman Career
A native of Palo Alto, Calif., Feldman graduated from Palo Alto High School where he played two years of varsity basketball and was a teammate of future NFL football player and 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tufts University, where he again was a two-year varsity basketball player. He then became an assistant basketball coach at Stanford University before making his career debut with broadcasting.
Dave first started his broadcasting career in 1987 at KCBS 740 radio in San Francisco where he had first television Job at KTIV. He then joined with KMST in Monterey, California before joining to the Orange County News channel. Then after, he was leased by ESPN for four years. While on the contrary, he worked as the primary host of College Hoops 2Night on ESPN2.
Dave Feldman also worked as a sports director and sports anchor for the WTTG-TV FOX 5 in Washington, D.C in August 2000. There he served for the 12 years and with his impressive work, he was promoted to sports director in January 2001. Dave has also announced college basketball games for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. During his time in WTTG, he won several awards like Local Emmy Awards and Best Sports Anchor.
Later, Comcast Sports Net (CNS) Bay Area chartered a talented Dave Feldman as an anchor/reporter for the San Francisco 49ers and regular studio show Sports Net Central. In that respect, he worked with the several well-known sports including pre-game and post-game shows for Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), and National Hockey League (NHL).
