Coupe is an American journalist currently working as the Vice President of the Digital productions for CNN since January 2020.

At the moment, she is responsible for CNN Digital’s premium and innovative content which includes CNN Digital Productions, audio, and Great Big Story.

Coupe was previously the Vice President of Content Strategy & Operations at Great Big Story, an award-winning media firm that creates non-fiction micro-documentaries, series, and features. Great Big Story was founded in 2015 as a result of a CNN Worldwide investment and now has offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and London. Courtney defined the brand’s voice, editorial, and production as one of the company’s original members, telling evocative, startling, and authentic stories from individuals you can’t believe are real. 

Coupe has won one Emmy, two Emmy nominations, a Cannes Silver Lion, and three Webby awards during his time at Great Big Story.

Courtney was the Executive Producer of Digital Video Development and Production for Bloomberg before joining Great Big Story, where he oversaw daily digital video development, production, and strategy across web, mobile, and social. Coupe worked as a producer for ABC News Digital and Good Morning America for seven years, covering news events such as the Royal Wedding, the 2008 election and inauguration, Hurricane Katrina, and Pope John Paul II’s death. Coupe won an Emmy for Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story for his coverage of President Barack Obama’s inauguration while at ABC News.

She is a proud graduate of Boston College where he graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree.
