Lea is an American journalist from Greensboro, NC working with WRAL-TV.
Lea previously worked with WJMH (102 Jamz) from 2007-2019 as Morning Show Producer from 2008-2009, and Host of ‘Straight Talk’ from 2014-2019.
In addition, worked as Sports Editorial Assistant/Writer at Greensboro News & Record from 2004-07. 2007 saw her host an episode of “The Deans List” on MTVU. He in addition was a Backstage Correspondent for the 2007 MTVU Woodie Awards.
Lea was also a Traffic Anchor at WXII 12 News from 2013-2015. In addition, he was a Sports Anchor at WXII 12 News from 2015-2020.
Chris is a proud graduate of UNCG where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies.
Chris was a wrestler in high school and was a pro wrestler (WWE Style) from 2012-2016.
Among his best sports experiences includes Super Bowl XLIX when all the Seahawks had to do was run the ball with the best running back in the sport (at the time) and save them from another Patriots Super Bowl Victory. They however decided to throw instead and Malcolm Butler broke all of our hearts. We hated it at the time, but no other sports moment was as debated in my lifetime and still brings up feelings from sports fans.
His favorite sport includes Greensboro Coliseum. Away from work, he loves listening to Radio, Pro Wrestling, Entrepreneur, PR, and music.
