Horgen is an American journalist from Tulsa working at News Channel 6, KAUZ-TV since he was 22 years old. His career began in the sports department before moving to news in 2009.
His career began in 1992 where they used typewriters to write scripts. Most of the news came from a printer that spat out the headlines of the day from the AP and UPI because there was no internet.
A native of Tulsa, Chris graduated from Oklahoma State University.
Currently, Horgen serves as the Main News Anchor and Assistant News Director at News Channel 6, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the newsroom.
He loves helping at the Kitchen in Wichita Falls and is a board member and the Civil Rights Liaison for Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls. Additionally, he is a former board member and President of the Volunteer Services Council at the North Texas State Hospital. Chris is also a recipient of the North Texas United Way Volunteer of the Year.
