Campbell-Pascall is a Canadian journalist from Richmond Hill, Ontario currently working as an ice hockey analyst for CBC/Radio-Canada.
Campbell-Pascall is a three-time Olympic medalist as well as an experienced television analyst. She has covered the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. Campbell-Pascall earned 21 medals with Canada’s National Women’s teams, including 17 gold and four silver, and is the only male or female captain to lead Canada to two Olympic gold medals which include Salt Lake City 2002 and Turin 2006, following a silver medal at the Olympic Winter Games Nagano 1998.
In women’s hockey, Campbell-Pascall is a household name and a role model for ambitious athletes. She has won six gold medals at the World Championships and one silver medal. She was the longest-standing captain in Canadian hockey history, serving as Canada’s National Women’s Team captain from 2001 to 2006.
Campbell-Pascall is a broadcaster at the third Olympic Games. She was the first woman to commentate on Hockey Night in Canada, where she now works as a TV analyst. In addition, she is a trailblazer for women covering the sport.
The year 2007 saw her being inducted into the Canada Sports Hall of Fame, the same year as Doug Flutie. In the month of June the same year, the issue of Chatelaine magazine had Campbell on its cover for the second time.

She received an honorary degree from the University of Guelph on June 16th, 2011. In addition, she received the Order of Hockey in Canada on June 25th, 2012. In addition, she was presented with the Canadian Women’s Hockey League Humanitarian of the Year Award in March 2014. This award was presented by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Later on, on June 30th, 2016, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada by Governor General David Johnston for “contributions to Canadian women’s hockey as a player, broadcaster and role model.”
