Brittany Boyer Biography
Brittany Boyer is an American on-air meteorologist and a severe weather expert with AccuWeather. Her responsibilities include forecasting national weather and covering severe weather conditions. She uses her knowledge and experience to make forecasts so that viewers can make appropriate decisions for their day.
Boyer has always been interested in weather whilst growing up near Philadelphia. She quotes the Blizzard of 1996, a storm that crippled the city for days, as one of her greatest memory. Her interest in the science behind the weather was piqued and she went on to combine her love for weather and journalism. Her sense of fashion and dressing, along with her accurate reporting has been appreciated in an article by Webb weekly.

Brittany Boyer Education
Brittany was born in the suburbs of Philly, Boyer attended Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She continued with another degree at the Mississippi State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences and Operational Meteorology. Boyer made the Dean’s list and was also the College of Communications Diversity Ambassador.
Brittany Boyer Career
Boyer started her broadcasting career as an anchor and multi-media journalist at WPSU Penn States Centre County Report. She did both online and on-air content and one of her most notable reports was in February 2011, where she covered President Obama’s visit to Penn State University.
She was an on-air weather broadcaster for AccuWeather for a year in 2010-2011, where she received training in weather presentation from Chief Meteorologist Bernie Rayno. While providing online and radio broadcasts, Brittany described her day there as receiving meteorologists’ briefings and presenting the weather forecasts nationwide.
From 2011-2013, Boyer was a reporter with WJAC-TV in her role as a reporter, she covered breaking news such as the death of Joe Paterno and the riots in Penn State following Paterno’s death. As a fill-in Weather Anchor, Boyer presented on the weather for Central, Pennsylvania
With WNEP-TV, an affiliate with ABC, Boyer worked as a weekend TV meteorologist. Covering the seventeen counties in Pennsylvania, she had a chance to report on the diverse weather for West conditions. During her stint there, she reported tornadoes and winter storms. In 2016, she moved back to AccuWeather and won an award for ‘Best Wether’.

At the age of 18, when Brittany joined college, a guy named John was the first person she met there. After the first year of college, she started dating John, and they graduated together in April 2011, after almost three years of relationship.
Her boyfriend’s name was announced in the Smeal College of Business commencement as an economist on 15 May 2011.
John was in New York at the time of his birthday on 4 June 2011, so Brittany wished she was there instead of working. However, the couple probably celebrated their third anniversary sometime in June 2011, a little after John’s birthday.
On 23 June 2011, Brittany even tweeted that she was moving away and her boyfriend got a job near her hometown. But regardless, she was proud that they both were employed.
As of now, whether the couple is still dating or if they plan to get married is still not known. Brittany has remained silent about her love life for years.
The only thing public can do for now is waiting for the wedding announcement or dig into her love life with her future husband, if she has one.
