Curran is an American journalist working as a Daytime Blue Ridge Host. She joined the WSLS 10 team in March 2019. Bridget graduated from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic media communications. She transferred there after playing D-1 volleyball for two seasons with the Manhattan College Jaspers in New York. She began her television career at WQOW News 18 in 2014. There, she started out as a reporter, quickly shifted into a weekend anchor position, and then ultimately became a morning anchor.
She is excited to live in a place like Roanoke which’s surrounded by gorgeous mountains.
Curran enjoys playing pick-up volleyball. Also, she likes to work out, eat good food, explore new areas and cultures, and scrapbook.
