Bridget is a graduate of James Madison University, where she studied both journalism and Spanish. She studied abroad during the spring semester of her junior year in Sevilla, Spain, and has had the travel bug ever since.

At JMU Bridget worked as a sideline reporter and pre-game anchor for MadiZONE HD SportsNet. She also worked as a sideline reporter for Telemedia Productions, covering the Shenandoah football game of the week and EMU basketball. She had two internships during her time at JMU, the first in Los Angeles, California with Time Warner Cable Deportes, and the second at the Newsplex. She studied abroad during the Spring Semester of her Junior year in Sevilla, Spain, and has had the travel bug ever since.
Bridget has always been a huge sports fanatic having grown up in the Greater Boston Area. She loves being in the heat of the moment and her favorite seat? The sideline. Bridget loves telling stories to her family and friends and is excited to now be able to tell stories to the rest of the world. She has a creative and unique perspective and loves mastering new techniques.
Bridget was an athlete herself, she was a captain and MVP of her high school Field Hockey team and a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team. She also is a two-time Intramural Champ at JMU, once for Field Hockey and once for Street Hockey.
As a sports reporter, Bridget covers a lot of fun and happy things. At her last station in Charlottesville during the weekend of the Charlottesville rally, it was all hands on deck. She covered news events and a very unpleasant one, to say the least for the first time. Bridget experienced as saw so many things that day that was out of the norm for her as a sports reporter. Ultimately that weekend made her a stronger reporter and person.
