Ferrer is an American journalist currently working as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Finance and Administration offices for CNN since June 2000.

Ferrer, who is stationed in Atlanta, was named to this role in April 2019 and is in charge of financial leadership for the business unit and its brands, which includes CNN U.S., CNN Digital, HLN, CNN International, Bleacher Report, and NBA, MLB, and NCAA partnerships.
Ferrer’s customers trust their brands to reach them wherever they are to report, cover, and share the most engaging news and live sports stories. Ferrer’s finance team works closely with News and Sports leadership to fund and maintain their brands’ mission of being indispensable to their customers.

Prior to his present position, Ferrer was the Chief Financial Officer of CNN Worldwide, a position he held since 2000. Ferrer joined Turner in 1995 and served a number of positions in Turner’s corporate finance group before joining CNN.

Before joining Turner, Ferrer worked as a CPA for Price Waterhouse in the accounting and auditing group from 1981 to 1995. Brad is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he is a member of the Georgia State University Foundation Board of Trustees and served as its chair in the past.

He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and the Board of Directors of the Georgia State University Athletic Association. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia State University Alumni Association.

Ferrer is a proud graduate of Georgia State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting in 1981.
