He started his journalism career in the year 2004 when he joined the U.S House of Representatives and worked there as a legislative intern until December 2004. After then he joined KBOI-TV in 2007 and worked there as the morning anchor/reporter for about two years. He left KBOI-TV in 2009 and joined KTNV TV on September 2009, where he worked as the weekend anchor/reporter.
While working with HNTV he anchored every weekend evening newscast and also reported 3 nights each week. After then he left KNTV and joined KARE 11 in September 2012, where he worked as the weekend reporter/anchor he worked there until September 2015. He is currently working as the correspondent for NBC, which he joined in October 2015. His duties at NBC include reporting for Nightly News, TODAY and MSNBC.
