Ben Aaron (Benjamin Aron Colonomos) is an American New York City-based media personality. He currently co-hosts the nationally syndicated TV talk show Pickler & Ben with country artist Kellie Pickler. He has co-hosted the show since September 2017. Before his new role, he was working with NBCUniversal’s LXTV.

He also worked for WNBC’s New York Live. He also worked for the nationally syndicated Crazy Talk television series. The alumni of Emerson College, in Boston, Massachusetts started his career when he was a teen. He started his journalism career on radio in 1999. He was 18 years old at the time. He was working for Radio Disney.

He made a brief stint as a radio host in Tucson, Arizona. He later moved to Los Angeles. He landed an on-air television hosting job for Daybreak OC. OC is an Orange County-based morning lifestyle/news show serving all of Los Angeles. He later went to KSWB in San Diego and continued his work as a features reporter.

He was then poached by WNBC in New York. He has worked for NBCUniversal at WNBC as their host of New York Live. While at the WNBC, he received three consecutive Emmy Awards for “Best Features Reporter”. He was also a co-host of the nationally syndicated television program, Crazy. At the same time, he was a correspondent for Extra.
In May 2017, Ben and his wife collaborated on their own version of the DIY Network home renovation show which was tagged Renovation Realities: Ben and Ginger.
