Asistio is an American journalist working as an anchor/reporter for NBC10 Boston and necn. Audrey attended San Francisco State University, majoring in Radio & Television, emphasizing Broadcast Journalism. Since joining the team in August 2016, Audrey has covered several of New England’s biggest stories from the anchor desk. She was the only Boston reporter in New York City to provide New Englanders live coverage of the 2017 Halloween Day terrorist attack just moments after it happened. Audrey also spent an entire month in PyeongChang, South Korea, covering the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Before joining NBC10 Boston, Audrey served as a morning and noon co-anchor for KOVR, the CBS O&O in Sacramento, for more than three years. In Northern California, Audrey navigated her viewers through numerous live breaking news events happening across the U.S., including the Boston Marathon bombings and the stabbing of Spencer Stone, a U.S. airman who was hailed a hero for helping thwart an attack on a Paris-bound train. She also worked at stations in Fresno, California, Chico, California, and Yakima, Washington.
