Monday through Friday. She attended Mississippi State University, where she earned her degree in meteorology. After graduation, she moved down the highway to Columbus, Mississippi, and spent a year at the CBS affiliate, tracking numerous tornadoes. Then, Ashley spent three years at the ABC affiliate in Pensacola, Florida, where she gained experience tracking tropical systems, severe weather, and even winter weather.
In her free time, Ashley likes to watch movies, do yoga, cheer on the Saints and LSU, and spend time with her two dachshunds, Cappie and Comet the WeatherWeenies. Ashley has combined her two loves — animals and weather — to develop Forecast, a feature during the morning show Monday through Friday. Forecast features a viewer’s pet, along with the forecast for the day.
