Godwin is an American journalist working as a multi-skilled journalist and producer at THV11. She found her passion for journalism during her senior year when she began working for News 6. Ashley later became the News Director of the station getting stories and creating newscasts for the evening shows. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a public relations major, and minors in marketing and interdisciplinary studies.
Her favorite part of the job is getting out in the community and being able to tell your stories. She spent the last two years at KSNF in Joplin, Missouri where she was a weekend anchor, reporter, and producer. While working in the Show-Me-State, Ashley covered news in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
