Ashley attended Holland College in Prince Edward Island, graduating with a diploma in Journalism. From there, she studied television news at the New Brunswick Community College in Woodstock. Her first job, at the age of 12, was picking potatoes. She was also known to be a chatterbox and quickly realized a job that required a lot of talking would be a perfect fit for her.
Before joining WAGM, Ashley worked for CTV Atlantic. In addition, she has worked in all three mediums (print, radio, and TV), but has developed a true passion for television.
