She is the daughter of Doris Neville and Art Neville. She attended St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans. She travelled to New York after graduating to pursue a career in modelling but she landed into doing commercials and also having appearances in Soap Operas. She enrolled at Xavier University before she switched to journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. She began her career at the KVUE-TV.
