Art Jarrett is an American journalist from the United States, currently working as a Meteorologist on KSBW Action News 8 Sunrise, Monterey, California. He joined KSBW Action News 8 Sunrise in January 2015.

Jarrett is an American journalist working as a Meteorologist on KSBW Action News 8 Sunrise with Anchor Brittany Nielsen, Anchor Lauren Seaver, and Traffic Reporter Jaclyn Dunn Monday through Friday from 5 a.m.-7 a.m. He also forecasts on KSBW Action News 8 at Noon. Early in his career while at KNTV, he became increasingly interested in forecasting the weather. He attended Mississippi State University’s online Broadcast Meteorology Program and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences, along with a Certificate of Completion in the Broadcast Meteorology Program.
While in University, Art was accepted into the internship program at KSBW sister station KCRA 3 in Sacramento in the Fall of 2009. His experience at KCRA shifted him into a regular position at KSBW. In Spring of 2010 Art joined the KSBW Weather team as the Weekend Weather Forecaster. In January 2015, Art became a Meteorologist and later shifted his role to weekday mornings on KSBW Action News 8.
Eventually, Art started producing weather segments for the weekend newscasts and continued to assist the KNTV Weather Team, creating graphics, logging data, and overseeing the weather department during live shots.
