Andy Cohen (Andrew Joseph Cohen) is an American talk show, radio host, producer and author born on 2nd June 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. He is the producer and host of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ and the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show.
Andy is the executive producer of Real Housewives franchise which includes The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and The Real Housewives of New York City.

Andy Cohen welcomed his son Benjamin Allen on February 4, 2019, via surrogate. He announced his birth via Instagram by posting a photo of him with his son and captioned it; “He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow.”
Andy had announced in December that he was having a baby during an episode of Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live.

Andy Cohen was in a relationship with Dassucano, the two began dating in April 2016. Dassucano joined Cohen on Barry Diller’s $150million yacht Eos for two Caribbean getaways in the span of three months.
Andy then wrote about dating Dassucano in his 2016 memoir, Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries. The two kept their relationship lowkey and were rarely photographed together.
The two split but Andy never gave an explanation for their split but he said; ‘I didn’t sign up for a reality show.’

“It’s good, it’s good. Day by day, don’t like labels, No, I would like marriage yeah,” he said. “We’ll see. I don’t want to classify it on Extra TV because… no [I’m not opposed.]” he told the Daily Dish in 2017.

Cohen began his career in television as an intern at CBS News where he rose to ranks serving as senior producer of The Early Show, a producer for 48 Hours and CBS This Morning. In 2010 he joined the Trio, an American television network. In 2004 Trio was bought out by Bravo and Andy became the network’s vice president.
Cohen was a regular guest of Today and Morning Joe and has co-hosted Live! with Kelly, and The View. Cohen began hosting a weekly midnight television talk show, Watch ‘What Happens Live’ in summer 2009, the show was later expanded into a weeknight series.
Cohen has hosted the Miss Universe pageant for USA 2011, Miss USA 2012, Miss USA 2013, Miss Universe 2011, and Miss Universe 2012. He refused to co-host t the Miss Universe pageant in Russia in 2013 due to the country’s adoption of anti-gay laws.
On 14th September 2015, Cohen began presenting a newly radio channel, Radio Andy, launched by SiriusXM on channel 102. The channel features shows hosted by Cohen (Andy Cohen Live, and Andy Cohen’s Deep & Shallow). Cohen also hosts a series of special broadcasts for his station known as Town Halls in front of a live studio audience.

In March 2015 Cohen and Anderson Cooper announced that they were going on a national tour to perform their conversational stage show AC2. The tour opened in Boston, followed by Miami Beach, Chicago and Atlanta. Since then they have toured to about 50 cities as of July 2018.
On 25th May 2017 Cohen premiered his hour-long game show, Love Connection, on Fox. Later in 2017, he co-hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage alongside Cooper.

In 2018 Cohen played himself on the show Riverdale as a friend of the Lodge family. Cohen had this to say about how he got in Riverdale.
“I’m a huge Riverdale fan, and I was on Radio Andy one day having just watched the season one finale, and it hit me, I was like, I need to come to Riverdale. I want this to happen, so I said it on the air, and [executive producer] Greg Berlanti listens to Radio Andy on his way to work. And he emailed me that day, he said it’s done. It was pretty easy.”
