Petrillo is a Canadian journalist from Toronto, Ontario currently working as a host of CBC Sports’ Road To The Olympic Games.

Each weekend, she and co-host Scott Russell take viewers through CBC Sports’ coverage of national and worldwide elite high-performance sports tournaments, as well as in-depth stories on the athletes and sports featured.

Petrillo provides to CBC’s broadcasts a wealth of information about both the athletes and the game, regardless of which sport she is covering. Petrillo is privileged to have been the first full-time female Hockey Night in Canada in-studio personality. In addition, she was known for her work as part of the studio staff for CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada.

She has previously presented significant international events for CBC, including the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazilâ and overnight coverage of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, as well as Pan Am Afternoon on CBC-TV at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.

She hosted the All-Canadian Awards Banquet at the CIS Women’s Basketball Final 8 in 2012, when she was honored with a Woman of Influence Award for her contributions to her industry and community.
