Alexandria Hoff Biography
Alexandria Hoff is an American Journalist. Alexandria Hoff joined CBS 3’s Eyewitness News team in March 2015. She started co-anchoring CBS3@4 when it launched in August 2018. Before she joined CBS 3’s, Hoff was a reporter and anchor at WHTM-TV, the ABC station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, since 2013. She had previously worked as an anchor and reporter for WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland from 2010-2011, where she founded the station’s Northern Virginia Bureau in Shenandoah Valley.
In 2014 Alexandria won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for Health – News Single Story or Series, “When Hashtags Hurt,” about eating disorders going viral. Hoff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 2010. Hoff spent a semester travelling at sea in 2008 through the University of Virginia. She managed to travel to 12 countries in less than four months. As part of that experience, she shot and produced a mini-documentary on the South African National Biodiversity Institute in Cape Town. She also participated in an Environmental Policy Summit in Chennai.
