Alex Hogan is an American journalist from Switzerland who currently works as a general assignment reporter for FOX News Channel since January 2020.

Alex Hogan Biography

Hogan was born and raised in Switzerland, she speaks various languages having lived in Spain, Israel, and seven states across the United States. She attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. she was also awarded a regional Emmy award for her work at the school’s Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

She began her work journey as an ESPY awards talent assistant in July 2013, earlier that year she was a producer and reporter at Penn State THON. Where among other things she worked on equipment, and managed staff. Afterwards she moved to ComRadio as a radio news reporter, she helped produce weekly shows based on local, state, national, and international news.

In December 2013 she worked as an IT director for Kappa Alpha Theta Indianapolis Alumnae chapter. Here among other duties she managed all social media accounts accounts and resolved technical problems. January 2014 she joined Spoon University as a writer where she wrote weekly articles for the online food blog. In August 2014 she was a newsroom intern at NBC News, here she worked in the newsroom and in the field with producers, reporters, and the investigative team.

Before joining FNC, she worked as a morning news reporter and fill-in anchor for independent television station WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During this time, Alex covered many important news stories, not limited to the trial of Bill Cosby, the 2017 Cosmo Dinardo murders, and the 2018 Allentown car bombing. Before, Alex worked as a general assignment reporter for CBS affiliate WTAJ-TV. Where she covered the Altoona, State College, and Johnston, Pennsylvania areas.

Alex was also an intern for Bloomberg TV where she field produced and worked on the weekend version of Bloomberg Intelligence’s Equity Market Minute. Hogan also interned at NBC O&O WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., where she assisted with the coverage of local debates, hearings, and the 2014 Navy Yard Shooting Remembrance.
