Ausmus is an American journalist from Minnesota currently working with the sports department at KSN News 3 March 2021 as a Sports Director. She joins KSN News 3 from WKOW where she has worked since July of 2016.

Previously, he spent time on the shores of Lake Superior at WDIO-TV in Duluth, Minnesota, and on the prairies of North Dakota at KFYR-TV in Bismarck.

He is a proud graduate of St. Cloud State University where he obtained her degree in Mass Communication – Broadcast Journalism in 2013.

Ausmus has covered everything from NFL playoff games, college football bowl games to sailboat racing regattas, and everything in between.

Additionally, during his working career, he has received several awards from the Associated Press, Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association, and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
