Alan Jouban Biography
Alan Jouban is an American professional mixed martial artist currently fighting in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Jouban has also formerly competed for Shark Fights, RFA, and Tachi Palace Fights. He was born on November 25, 1982, Lafayette, LA, USA.
Alan hailed from a middle-class family and started his career with modeling. During the course of his modeling career, he has appeared in the ads for big brands like Nike and Pepsi. Apart from appearing in the UFC ring, Alan presently is working as a model and has signed a contract with Versace. He has also flexed his acting muscles with the short film for the promotional ad of Versace’s Dylan Blue Fragrance.
In his career’s first fight, Alan won the match in mere 14 seconds in the very first round against a weaker opponent via KO and in his career’s second fight against Kyle Griffin, which also happened to be his first professional fight, Alan won in the first round, again through a KO, in February 2011.
Fighting for Tachi Palace Fights, his second match saw him losing to ChidiNjokuani in May 2011.

Albert Tumenov knocked Alan out in the first round in the next fight, and Alan took the revenge of the bitter loss from another fighter Brandon O’Reilly by knocking him out in the same way he got knocked out in the previous fight.
In July 2017, Alan injured his foot while training and took his name out of the highly anticipated fight in which he had to face Brian Camozzi and in his last fight to date, Alan lost to Niko Price via KO in the fight, which took place on 5th August 2017.
Jouban also continued his modeling career in 2016. He signed an endorsement deal with Versace and appeared in their short film with Gigi Hadid for the Dylan Blue Fragrance.

Jouban faced Gunnar Nelson on March 18, 2017, at UFC Fight Night 107. After being rocked with a punch, Jouban lost the fight via a guillotine choke in the second round. Brian Camozzi was to fight Alan Jouban on July 8, 2017, at UFC 213. However, Jouban pulled out of the fight on June 6 citing a foot injury.
Jouban faced Ben Saunders on February 24, 2018, at UFC on Fox 28. He won the back-and-forth fight via knockout in the second round and it won him the Fight of the Night bonus. Jouban was expected to face Danny Roberts on July 22, 2018, at UFC Fight Night 134. Nevertheless, on July 12, Jouban was pulled out from the fight, citing a neck injury. At UFC 236, Jouban faced Dwight Grant on April 13, 2019. He lost the fight via split decision.
