White is an American journalist currently serving as Chief Meteorologist at KIMT News in Rochester, MN. He joined KIMT News team in November 2020. His previous work as an on-air meteorologist took him to Sioux Falls, SD, Fargo, ND and Madison, WI, so he’s used to our midwestern weather. Before joining Storm Team 3. he worked in Madison at The Weather Company, and traveled across the United States and internationally training meteorologists on weather graphics software to help better their weather presentations to viewers at home.

Aaron grew up in a military family, and lived in several different parts of the country, including Colorado and Kansas, and even internationally in Germany. His passion for weather sparked on witnessing the extreme winters in Colorado and springtime thunderstorms in Kansa. He earned his bachelor’s degree in atmospheric science for the University of Kansas in 2012, and began his career as a meteorologist at KSFY-TV in Sioux Falls, SD. During his spare time, Aaron stays pretty active by hiking, kayaking, or paddle-boarding during the summer months. In winter, it comes down to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. He’s also an avid traveler, and loves to explore new places when he can.
