Aaron Reeves is an American Journalist currently serving as a meteorologist at KTUL Channel 8. He joined Channel 8 in March 2015. He was born in Tulsa and raised in Skiatook, Okla.

Reeves is an American Journalist currently serving as a meteorologist at KTUL Channel 8. He joined Channel 8 in March 2015. Aaron was born in Tulsa and raised in Skiatook, Okla. He is a proud graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (Geaux Hawks) with a B.S. in Atmospheric Science. While at ULM, he was a member of the Track and field team. Growing up with an agricultural background, weather has always been an important part of his life. It was the Skiatook F-4 tornado in 1990 that really sparked his interest in becoming a meteorologist. Reeves began his meteorology career at KSNT in Topeka, Kan. There he had an opportunity to forecast about every type of extreme or sever weather you could imagine. He is very excited to be back in Northeast Oklahoma providing important weather information to his home state.

When he is not working, He enjoys being very active. He likes playing golf, running, biking, hiking and he is still active in master’s track and field competitions. Aaron also serves at Coffeyville Community College as a golf and track coach as well as an algebra instructor.
